Les vers 9 et 10 du sonnet \u2018marotique\u2019 riment entre eux. Ce distique \u2018plat\u2019 est pratiquement absent du sonnet italien. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">De plus la premi\u00e8re des deux dispositions italiennes majeures pour les tercets <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>cde cde<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> est interdite dans la po\u00e9sie de langue fran\u00e7aise par la <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">r\u00e8gle d\u2019alternance<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">. La seconde, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>cdc dcd<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> est peu employ\u00e9e\u00a0: les vers 9 et 10 n\u2019y riment pas. Le sonnet fran\u00e7ais du 16<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">\u00e8me<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> pr\u00e9f\u00e8re les formules \u00e0 5 rimes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(iii) Un deuxi\u00e8me type de quatrains, \u2018altern\u00e9s\u2019, de plus en plus fr\u00e9quent au cours du 16<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">\u00e8me<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> si\u00e8cle, mais \u2018domin\u00e9\u2019 par le premier, provient \u00e9galement du sonnet italien\u00a0: <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>abab abab <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">C\u2019est la SECONDE FORME-BASE DES QUATRAINS\u00a0; seconde forme-p\u00e9trarque<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(iv) Un deuxi\u00e8me type de tercets, qu\u2019on trouve en 1547 chez Jacques Peletier du Mans est rim\u00e9 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>ccd ede<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">. Du Bellay, en 1549, dans <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">L\u2019Olive<\/span> l\u2019emploie et il est de plus en plus fr\u00e9quent par la suite. Un distique plat final (vers 13 et 14) (quasiment inconnu du sonnet italien) est pr\u00e9sent, mais tr\u00e8s minoritaire (il est, au contraire, omnipr\u00e9sent dans le sonnet anglais, \u2018shakespearien\u2019 ou non)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">C\u2019est la SECONDE FORME-BASE DES TERCETS\u00a0; forme-peletier<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(v) Les strophes du sonnet, au seizi\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, ne sont pas s\u00e9par\u00e9es. Elles sont distingu\u00e9es par un d\u00e9crochement dans la ligne de leur premier vers (soit \u00e0 gauche, soi \u00e0 droite). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(vi) Tout sonnet est un po\u00e8me autonome, termin\u00e9 par un point. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(vii) Les rimes des quatrains ne sont pas reprises dans les tercets<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(viii) Un sonnet est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement monom\u00e9trique. Le m\u00e8tre dominant est d\u2019abord le <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>d\u00e9casyllabe <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">; ensuite (Ba\u00eff et Ronsard\u00a0: 1555-1556) <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>l\u2019alexandrin<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">. L\u2019<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>octosyllabe<\/strong> progresse lentement, mais reste tr\u00e8s minoritaire. Les autres m\u00e8tres sont rarement employ\u00e9s<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(ix) Un sonnet a 14 vers. Il y a quelques exemples de sonnets plus longs\u00a0; d\u2019autres, encore plus rares, de sonnets plus courts. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small\">0 4 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><em>Tendances majeures de l\u2019\u00e9volution<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: Hoefler Text\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">(i) Les m\u00e8tres dominants sont \u2013 a) l\u2019alexandrin  b) (tr\u00e8s loin) l\u2019octotyllabe.
